MIRACLE IN THE MAKING TOURS

Interested in hearing about Horizon Christian Schools vision and future expansion plans? Please join us for a Miracle in the Making Tour. SCHOOL CLOSURES: Horizon Christian Schools will be closed or the opening will be delayed due to inclement weather whenever the Tigard/Tualatin School District closes, or delays opening its schools. As such, parents may generally follow the instructions given for the Tigard/Tualatin School District.

June | The Science of Myth Busters

Spectacular experiments and interactive demonstrations will create a chemical reaction of fun all month long as we investigate OMSI, AC Gilbert's Discovery Village, Aviation Museum and so many destinations that it will blow your mind. What makes volano's blow their top? How do rockets really get to space? Can Ice burn? Exciting and high-energy discoveries will engage in your young scientist in hands on activities and turn your couch potato into a wacky mad scientist.

July | Dig into Dinosaurs

Escape before experiencing catastrophic extinction due to summer boredom. When did the first dinosaurs appear on Earth? Did people and dinosaurs live at the same time? Why did the dinosaurs die out? Join us as we uncover volcanoes of fun at places like Mt. Tabor Lava Beds, Mt St. Helen's Visitor Center, Portland Zoo, and many other exciting prehistoric adventures. Paleontologists will dig July.

August | The Happiest Month on Earth

To infinity and beyond! Race away the summer blues on Route 66. Come fly to Never Never Land with Peter Pan and find the happiest place on earth. A magical kingdom, the Enchanted Forest, is where we will be sure to find a prince and princess. See fantasy become a reality as you keep a close watch for the Kind of Lions at Walk on the Wild Side. Help explore Davy Jones' Locker at the Portland Aquarium and many other whimsical lands. Fairytale dreams come true all August long.
